That’s how David Main, Business Technology Manager at Coupland’s Bakeries, describes the old way of managing compliance.

We had books of paper and lots of data that had to be manually collated. There was no single system, no visibility, and no data governance — just dozens of Excel sheets and Word documents floating around.

With 550 employees across 25 stores and two production facilities, this lack of structure and integration made it tough to:
